Hi Dottie, yes, you can substitute with almond milk, but I’m not sure how it would work with maple syrup. Let me know if you give it a go.

Hi Gail, yes, it is indeed made with a newsprint center. In fact, it’s adapted from original copper engravings by Royal Wessex. I purchased the plate from Homesense around Halloween time. I’ve recently spotted more this season at Homesence but bigger.
