Sorry to hear this but I’m not sure how I can be of help at this point and it has never happened to me…rest assured that cake will be just as yummy! Simply dust it with powdered sugar before serving!

Hey Mel! Sorry to hear this! It’s one cake I’ve made countless times and with never an issue! You may just have had to adjust the baking time. Or might it have been the type of baking pan? Oven temperature?
